 WALT- we are learning new words in Te Reo Maori. 

The hardest part was learning the Te Reo Maori translation. The easiest part was making the slide show. My favorite part was searching up the Maori translation. I tried really hard on this, I even had to stay in for a little at lunch.

Step one: Put ice in the bottom of the gummy molds.

Step two: Pour some juice into the measuring cup, it should be 120ml. 

Step three: Pour the juice in the heating pot set.

Step four: Get three tablespoons of gelatin and pour it into the heating pots. 

Step five: Put 2 tablespoons of honey.

Step six: Then we mixed the mixture together. 

Step seven: Then poured the mixture into the molds. 

Step eight: You need to freeze them.

Step nine: We left the mixture in the mold to set. Next we ate a few gummies.

The hardest thing was to pour the mixture into the molds because it would always overflow.

The easiest part was making the gummy mixture because it wasn't hard.

WALT-we are learning to quickly calculate number problems 

  I just got a new high score on Prototec. I got 90% at stage 5 in 19 minutes and 55 seconds

 so my new goal is to get 100% in less time.

      This is my best I've ever done I've never gone past this score. on stage five I got 90%.

WALT-we are learning to follow the design process 

                       Why I decided on this design

 I chose this design because I've barely seen any people do my design. I also think it’s really good. I like all of the plants on the bottom of my pallet design. But one side of my pallet design is a bit crooked. My prototype is very stable. I think my garden will get 99% of the sunlight It should get. I also think 99% of the water it should get every day and night. That would help it grow strongly.

                          My pallet garden reflective 

My favorite part was building my prototype. I burnt myself more than twenty one times. I Got really sick of it. I started to get frustrated and I told myself to just go tell Mr. Masters before putting it under the water. I struggled at not burning myself with the hot glue guns. I think I could of done my planning more better.

                      What i found challenging

 

I found It challenging not to burn myself with the hot glue gun. I burnt myself more than 100 times!!! It hurt me alot! I had to run into the bathroom to put my hands in the cold water. That really helped, but it still stung for the rest of the day.

                  What i could of done better

 I think I could of done my planning better, like doing my coloring and drawing neater. My prototype was a bit crooked on the side of my prototype.

             My favorite part

My favorite part was doing my prototype, but I really hated   burning myself with the hot glue gun. It was my favorite part because I get to use the hot glue guns. I’m so excited to go to build the real pallet garden.

WALT-we are learning to order steps in the correct order

 this is my first attempt making a flowchart

I found easy doing the writing. I found hard doing to make the flowchart not blurry. I tried really hard to make this flowchart about kutai fritters. I think I did really good

the seven sisters of matariki

WALT we are learning about myths and legends of matariki

Once there was eight men at there whare there was seven

hansom men they was not even married because they

 thought no people was beautiful as them. Once when the 

men was going on a walk they saw seven beautiful girls the 

next minute they fell in love with them. They did not water 

there garden once one of the men went fishing 

for his wife when he came back from fishing he looked 

in the whare his wife was not in it. So he told his brothers. 

His brothers went to look in there whare the girls was not 

there the was looking around there whares jeff came out.

Jeff went to the marae and found six piwakawaka and one 

flying out of the marae all seven piwakawaka transferred into 

there wifes. Jeff was supisosh jeff told the other brothers they believed him. The girls was planning to starve them

to  death. The brothers planned to trap there wifes then  

piwakawaka/girls when on the tree the trap dropped the 

men brought them to  the sky and then they turned into 

stars.

i liked when the girls turned into piwakawaka.

walt: we are learning how to have fun during maths

I figared out this question with counting backwards.

  prodigy is making maths fun and instering so you can do maths in a fun way! Theres levels higher than one hundred levels you can also become a member so you can level up faster or even get more pets that can beat the other pets if you battle them you can reuse them and then you can take them to battle with you.

my boring lockdown

WALT: i am learning to use descriptive vocabulary in my writing

Week one 

Was fun going for bike rides and watching movies. I was doing maths
and playing with the dogs. Sometimes we got flat tires on our bike chains
and came off the bikes we were playing in Bloxburg . It's a game on roblox.
We also played minecraft on the xbox one. We took the dogs for walks
and even went to the farm to feed the horses and move the cavs,cows
and bulls.

Week two

When i logged onto my home account on my chromebook i went to roblox
and played meepcity and adopt me scooby doo. then called my bff whos in
the south island her name is laura and her sisters name is brooke-lyn there 
brother's name is romane💮

Week three

I went back on roblox and asked my mum  to buy me more robux for my
game what i made i named it lockdown is annoying. Then i used my extra
robux for more money on bloxburg. i made some boxes using paper it only
took a little while and all i did was sleeping in. and for easter i got easter eggs
and some toys.

Week four 

And it was one of my roommate's birthday on march 28 was a saturday we
where happy she turned 8 years old and now she obsessed with mikey mouse
and minnie mouse all though week four she was asking for mickey mouse.🎉

Week five 

On april the 9th was another roommates birthday she like moana she was
turning 11 years old she pretty annoying now because she yells a lot that's how
i got my ear infection.🎉

Week six 

We was getting so excited for school i was screaming so happy and then i
just about in the lock down it was to boring it was a little crazy

Week seven

I was asking mum to take me to the ware house for a new bag or
lunch box but she said no i was being a baby and i cried

The last day of lock down

I was so happy that lock down was over but then my mum told me we are
going to the warehouse. I was so excited so we went to the warehouse and
I bought a chocolate bunny from Easter. A bottle of lemonade and some toys
lock down is boring. Make sure your safe well coronavirus/covid 19 is going on.

Reflection lock down was fun but a little boring im so happy im back at school

Pilot Whales

Today in Literacy I learnt that there was two types of pilot wales long fined and short fined




In maths we focused on collecting data from pilot whales strandings.

Something I struggled with today coping words off a piece of paper and putting it on our a-z work.
Something I would like to find out more about is the pilot whales echolocation.
